On April 24, 2024, PROPHON held its regular Annual General Assembly in Hall 1 of the Sopharma Event Center in Sofia. The meeting was attended by 98 members of the association.
In accordance with the agenda, the Annual Report of the Management Board, the Annual Report of the Supervisory Board, and PROPHON's 2024 Budget were presented and approved. The Assembly also voted on and adopted amendments to the Statutes of PROPHON and its Distribution Rules (Art. 11.b.1).
The amendments to the Distribution Rules approved at the General Assembly include an increase in funding allocated by the association for social, cultural, and educational initiatives benefiting the rights holders represented by PROPHON.
The organizations benefiting from PROPHON’s funds in 2023—the Bulgarian Association of Music Producers (BAMP) and the Bulgarian Music Association (BMA)—presented their annual reports detailing their activities over the past year.
The Assembly approved a total of 520,000 BGN to fund beneficiaries applying for the association’s programs in 2024, marking a 73% increase compared to 2023.
The funds will be distributed among beneficiary organizations, including the Bulgarian Association of Music Producers (BAMP), the Bulgarian Music Association (BMA), and the Association of Independent Music Publishers and Producers in Bulgaria (ANMIP-BG).
